Journey on the Furka steam train from Realp to Oberwald
This rail journey is a very special experience. The Treno Gottardo operated by the SOB will take you over the Gotthard panoramic route to Göschenen. You will then continue your journey with the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn up to Realp. This is where the impressive journey with the Furka steam railway begins. The route passes through the unspoilt nature of the Swiss Alps. After arriving in Oberwald im Goms, you will continue your journey by post bus over the Nufenen Pass to Airolo, where you will change to the Treno Gottardo for the journey home.
