Description

For centuries, the terraced vineyards characteristic of Ticino’s wine-growing tradition have shaped the landscape of Bellinzona. Grapes and wine, in their most authentic form, have long held pride of place on local tables, from those of patrician households to those of ordinary townsfolk.

The Agriesperienza begin with a charming walk through the wine-growing landscape of Bellinzona, leading us to the vineyard of the church of San Sebastiano in Artore, one of the vineyards managed by Azienda Agricola Manimatte. Along the way, the guide shares anecdotes and curiosities related to the history, culture, and local gastronomy.

Upon arrival at the vineyard, a tasting of some of the farm’s organic wines is planned, accompanied by local specialties. The experience concludes with the return to the center of Bellinzona, enriched with further stories and curiosities about the city. At the end of the visit, information is provided for those interested about the Manimatte winery, where it is possible to purchase wines and other products from the farm.
