Concert-performance
Based on the book by Giovanni Orelli Featuring theXcellos: Erik Dolci, Milo Ferrazzini, Sandro Meszaros, Leandro Pezzoli Siro Pedrozzi: narrator
‘L’anno della Valanga’ is a concert-performance based on the book of the same name by Giovanni Orelli. Original excerpts from the text, recited in a gripping narrative, are interwoven with musical pieces inspired by the events in the book: traditional Ticino music, Alpine songs and pieces from the classical repertoire. What makes this concert-performance unique is precisely the fusion of text, stage action and music: the result is an hour of multisensory immersion in the constant tension that runs through Orelli’s pages.
