Christmas market Bellinzona

On the last two Sundays of Advent, the traditional “Mercatini di Natale Bellinzona” offers a unique attraction for young and old alike. Tourists flock from far and wide to the capital of Ticino, home to magnificent medieval castles, sumptuous churches, beautiful narrow streets, and breathtaking houses. This is a classic Christmas market located at the foot of Viale Stazione and the old town, with around 200 stalls offering a multitude of Christmas decorations and various festive items. All kinds of wooden and fabric handicrafts (children's toys, slippers, leather shoes for little ones) – this thriving Christmas market in Switzerland is very popular.
