From Einsiedeln to Glarnerland without changing trains: travelers between Einsiedeln and Pfäffikon SZ benefit from the direct connection with the S6 to Glarnerland. They travel on the S40 from Einsiedeln to Rapperswil, where the line becomes the S6 and saves travelers to Glarnerland from having to change trains. Thanks to the modern trains, which accelerate faster, the SOB is also creating new connections at the Ziegelbrücke junction. The long-awaited connection from Glarnerland to the S-Bahn in the direction of Lake Walen, which was previously just missed, can now be reached. End of the line: Adventureland.
