Ww28 Winter hiking trail to Fondue Caquelon Wispile

Take the gondola comfortably to the Wispile mountain house (1907 m), where the winter hike starts. Always follow the ridge towards Gsteig/Lauenensee and enjoy the panoramic view. After about 40 minutes, you will reach the giant Fondue Caquelon on the right side. It accommodates up to eight people and cannot be reserved.

Return walk: You can hike back the same way to the Wispile mountain station or extend your hike via the toboggan run towards Chrine-Gsteig.

Direct access by car to the giant Fondue Caquelon is not possible.
