Description

This marked the beginning of the commercial-industrial development of Worb: from clattering mills to today's power generators. The baron von Kien probably could not have imagined that over 600 years later this commercial canal would still function and that later generations would be interested in it. Yet: IG Worber Geschichte, with the support of the municipality of Worb and the landowners, has established a history path. At 20 stations, from the "Bachteilete" at the Metzgerhüsi to the RBS station in Worb, the eventful history of this unique medieval engineering achievement is traced. The information boards at the individual stations as well as the flyer can be viewed and downloaded on the website of the municipality of Worb (History Path Section).

Additional pictures and information are available on the individual boards by scanning the QR code.
