Description

The path leads from Wollerau station through the village center to the Becki viewpoint. Then you walk on to the Erlenmoos leisure park and back to Wollerau through a varied cultural landscape with the scenic feature of a hillside marsh. Walking this path, you notice that the Höfner communities can boast of a splendid panoramic location. From numerous viewpoints, you get a good view of the lake, the ridges, and the Alpine peaks. A special viewpoint is the Becki hill above Wollerau, from where the Becki hill can be reached on foot in a good half hour. The Becki viewpoint hill is a roche moutonnée made of hard rock, formed by the Linth-Rhine glacier. From here you enjoy a fantastic view of the lower Lake Zurich and the Obersee as well as in the direction of Höhronen and Gottschalkenberg. Looking downstream, you gaze towards Zurich; to the east lies the March. On the opposite lakeside, the ridges of the Pfannenstiel are visible. On days with good visibility, the forested hills of the Zurich Oberland can be seen northeastwards. To the east, the Alpstein region with the Säntis is even visible.
