On this hike, we get to know the Appenzeller humor and let ourselves be captivated by the dreamlike landscape of Appenzellerland. The breathtaking view stretches over Lake Constance, into southern Germany, over the Rhine delta and the Bregenz Bay. At the Heiden and Walzenhausen stations, we can log into the web app, which is used at various joke stations. At the station in Heiden stands the Witzkiste, where we learn more about the origin of the lively tradition of the Appenzeller joke. Distributed along the route are audio pillars, making the Appenzeller joke an experience for all the senses.
