With the Wine Bag on the wine hiking route

Start your hike along this varied wine hiking route at the Restaurant Post in the Weinland municipality of Volken. Here you will receive the Wine Bag with your selected wine and exquisite products from the region.

With a complimentary coffee or tea, you have the opportunity to leisurely study the wine hiking route (and define the best aperitif spot along the route). The hiking trail takes you from Volken to Berg am Irchel. There you pass Schloss Berg, which was briefly the home of the poet Rainer Maria Rilke. From Berg am Irchel, it goes through the idyllic Eigental to the Worrenberg vineyard in the Flaach valley. At this vineyard, which covers over 20 hectares, mostly Pinot Noir and Riesling-Silvaner varieties are cultivated. The way back to the starting point takes you past the charming Räbhüsli of Worrenberg back to Volken.
