Wiriehorn snowshoe trail

The starting point of the snowshoe tour, the Wiriehorn mountain station, is easily reached with the 6-seater chairlift of the Wiriehorn cable car. The trail is marked from here, but you'll have to make your own tracks with your snowshoes. The cool winter air and the deep snow-covered alpine meadows and forests convey inner peace and distance from hectic everyday life. During the entire ascent you have a fantastic view of the Wiriehorn, the Lower Simmental, the Stockhorn and the Niesen chain.
