Description
Five means of transport with one ticket
The winter safari starts in Beckenried and goes with the longest cable car of the region to the Klewenalp high plateau. With hiking boots, snowshoes or the sled, it takes about 90 minutes to the Stockhütte hut and with the gondola down to Emmetten. If there is enough snow, many visitors enjoy the descent from Stockhütte to Emmetten on the sled. The post bus reaches Seelisberg and from there the funicular leads down to the lake. As the final highlight, the ship chugs across the deep blue Lake Lucerne back to Beckenried.
Sleds and snowshoes can be rented at Klewenalp and returned at Stockhütte or in Emmetten. Cosy restaurants and mountain inns invite you to linger throughout the winter safari.
The round trip can be started from Gersau, Beckenried, Seelisberg, Brunnen or Emmetten and is suitable for everyone, including groups. Tickets for the winter safari are available at the following locations:
