Winter hike St. Antönien Rüti - Partnun

On foot, you reach the winter hiking trail from the last PostAuto stop St. Antönien Rüti heading towards the hamlet of Partnun. During the first 2/3 of the path, there is a moderate uphill gradient; the last ascent will get your pulse rising a bit more. The trail is groomed up to the mountain lodges and can be enjoyed well with winter-appropriate equipment (shoes/clothing). Snowshoers and ski tourers will find a true paradise. The two mountain lodges serve as base camps and offer a wide range of routes. But even without technical aids, Partnun is easily accessible, and the hike is doubly worthwhile. You can spend the nights in both mountain lodges and enjoy the winter sun on the sun terraces. Delicious regional specialties reward you for the climb and make it hard to leave and descend to the valley again. For this, it is easiest to rent a sled in one of the mountain lodges.
