Winter hike Rossweid - Salwideli - Kemmeriboden

Take the gondola lift over the ski slopes to Rossweid in comfort. From there, the impressive hike starts via Salwideli through nationally significant moorland landscapes. With the gnarled, snow-covered mountain pines, you feel like you've been transported to another world. From Salwideli, you march through the idyllic winter landscape, flanked by the Brienzergrat and Schrattenfluh, steadily and gently downhill to Kemmeriboden-Bad, where a sweet dessert awaits! You can find out whether the winter hiking trail is open every day on the Sörenberg piste report.

Special ticket "Sörenberg-Kemmeriboden": Benefit from an attractive round trip ticket which includes all means of transport (cable car, bus and train) and also includes a "Merängge" as a reward. The special ticket is available from December 16, 2023 to Easter Monday, April 1, 2024 (please note below that the Landgasthof Kemmeriboden-Bad is closed) and costs CHF 46.00 / CHF 29.00 with half-fare travelcard. The following services are included:

• PostBus Schüpfheim-Sörenberg/Kemmeriboden-Bad-Escholzmatt   

• BLS line Escholzmatt-Schüpfheim   

• Sörenberg-Rossweid gondola lift   

• A portion of Merängge at the Landgasthof Kemmeriboden-Bad or a gift pack of Merängge from the Regiolädeli on site to take away.

The special ticket is available directly from PostBus (Schüpfheim-Sörenberg and Escholzmatt-Kemmeriboden), at the valley station of the Rossweid gondola lift, in the BLS webshop or in all BLS travel centers.
