Description
The Wiesner Alp circular route begins at the Reformed Church in the village of Wiesen. From there, the route leads 500 meters uphill on natural roads to Wiesner Alp. At Wiesner Alp are 40 Maiensässes (alpine herding huts). The view into the Albulatal valley and towards the opposite peaks of Piz Ela, Tinzenhorn, and Piz Mitgel compensates for the ascent to 1,940 meters above sea level. Now it gets a bit more technical: from Wiesner Alp, the path continues on single trails over Bleika to Platschtobel. This section is peppered with some technically more demanding passages. The last part, again on easier natural paths, leads over Mülitobel to Saga and from there over Boda back to Wiesen, where the bike route ends after about two hours. Afterwards, you can return to Davos by train, PostBus, or bike shuttle.
