Description
The Thal vineyard culture route leads along the ridge and around the south side of the Buechberg. Twelve stations on the themed trail convey historical and current information about viticulture, ecology, and geology of the Buechberg.
The walk takes about 1-2 hours and is not only very exciting for adults. Small visitors are also warmly welcome. The fold-out lower part of the panel is specially aimed at children. Let’s guess animal tracks, invent stories, or recognize shadows. Nearby are restaurants, a picnic area, and a viewing platform with a wonderful view over the region. The vineyard culture route is accessible by public transport via the PostBus stops Buriet, Nagelstein, Linde, Löwen, and Alte Post. Parking is available at the Nagelstein parking lot. From there, it is about 10 minutes to the start of the vineyard culture route.
