Via Glion stage 6: Pitasch - Riein

Wildness and authenticity, you won't meet many people here. From Pitasch, mainly natural roads and hiking trails lead ever upwards, and you look out over lush green meadows. Then, in the distance to your left, the Piz Mundaun stretches out again; straight ahead you look at the Brigelser Hörner – a chain of peaks with four summits in a row. At the foot of the steeply descending Signina mountain range lies the village of Signina, which was once inhabited year-round. You may enjoy the original character of today's alpine pasture settlement before you then hike steeply down into the Val da Riein and back up to Riein.

What is the highlight after a hike? Right, good and fresh food from the region. Upon arrival in Riein, you can treat yourself to delicacies from Riein at the farm shop or the Puzaniz refrigerator, and you will be rewarded with a beautiful view of Ilanz.
