Via Glion stage 4: Ilanz - Cumbel

From Ilanz, you pass the church of St. Martin in Ilanz and continue uphill to Luven. In Luven, it is worth stopping by the Panera fireplace. At 48 meters, the Panera was the largest spruce in Switzerland. However, it had to be felled in 2018 due to illness. You can still find the remains of the Panera at the fireplace today.

After a few hundred meters of paved road, turn left onto a natural road and hike uphill at the beginning, later slightly downhill to Cumbel. Shortly before the village, in Plaun Rueun, there is another cozy barbecue area. To your right is the Piz Mundaun, in front of you is the Val Lumnezia with its beautiful natural and cultural landscape.
