The Veia digl Pader begins in Stierva at the village square. For the first few minutes, it goes along the side road towards Mon, soon after which the hiking trail leads via Plangs to Mon. Then follow the signposts to Del. Passing the small church in Del, the path goes over meadows to Pulens. Through the village of Salouf, past the wooden statue of Father Lozza, the hiking trail leads to Motta da Parpi and continues to Riom. From Riom, it goes on forest roads and along the Julia to Savognin.
The poet Father Alexander Lozza (1880–1953)
The poet was born in Marmorera and was a pastor in Salouf. In his role as confessor at the pilgrimage site Ziteil, he gained insights into human soul distress. He recorded many events in the valley in his poems. He wrote about quarrels and neighbors, about the emerging car, and sang praises of the Romansh language and the mountain world.
