Valley hike Egschisee - Sculms - Versam

From the Carfil post bus stop, you hike to the equalizing basin of Lake Egschi. You cross the dam wall and reach the right side of the valley, where a romantic path leads through wooded areas (part of a 365-hectare forest reserve) and gorges high above the Rabiusa to the scattered farms of Sculms. (Please note: crossing the side ravines can be difficult after storms). Continue along a small road in the direction of Bonaduzerhöhe/Sil Ault. From there, descend via the footpath to Versamer Tobel. Cross the gorge over the imposing old bridge. The hiking trail leads away from the road shortly after the bridge. Follow the hiking trail via Versam Unterhof to Versam village.
