Urbachtal for connoisseurs

The mountain hiking trail from Innertkirchen to Unterstock winds up a steep, rocky slope in the forest. The terraced level of the Syteli offers a beautiful panoramic view from the Engelhorn range over the Hasliberg to the Grimsel area. Meadows, pastures and bushes pass through it in a mosaic pattern. In the middle lies the hamlet of Unterstock. The area is attractively structured with boulders, stone piles, dry stone walls, fruit trees and small ponds. It also has a great variety of species. Due to its high quality, this landscape was awarded the Cultural Landscape Prize of the Oberland-East region in 2017. First on a small road, then on a well-developed forest path, it goes gently uphill on the flank of the Loibstock to Loibalp, where you can enjoy a beautiful view into the Urbachtal and the surrounding mountains.

On the same route, it first goes back to Unterstock, then down to the Urbachwasser and partly on the valley road back to Innertkirchen.
