Unterer Brand trail

Unterer Brand is located just outside St.Gallen and is accessible on foot from the city. Yet you feel like you are in a different world in this gentle hilly landscape around the St.Galler Observatory, far from the urban hustle and bustle.

The circular route is ideal for beginners as the trail runs relatively flat over wide meadows, so there are no major inclines. Besides the main loop, there is a shortened variant (780 meters) that is illuminated at night. Thus, even advanced skiers can enjoy a change of scenery here and ski rounds until late in the evening.
