Description

Instead of pedaling uphill sweating like before, nowadays it is best to take the Parsenn cable car and start very comfortably at almost 2700 m above sea level. From here follows the well-known descent via the rocky path to Strelapass. After a short uphill, it gets a bit adventurous at the so-called "Tritt". At this steep, exposed staircase, we have to shoulder the bike. Tripping is not an option here.

Once at the bottom, it becomes more flowing. On the trails to the rustic Walser village of Medergen, we still have to shift the rear wheel once or twice, but on the following meadow paths and forest trails down to Langwies, we really enjoy pure flow. Here begins the actual uphill of the day, up to the next highlight. Up to the next highlight, the Duranna Pass.

At Duranna Pass, a break at the idyllic Green Lake is mandatory. Strengthened by a fine nut cake, we then enjoy the grand finale: on countless trails we descend over 1200 meters in altitude down to Küblis, where the route ends.
