Description
The hike through the vineyards and forests of the Five Villages into the Prättigau region starts at the northern end of the village at the bus stop "Gargällis". You cross the access road into the village heading north and follow the signpost to Molinära. After Molinära, the path rises slightly along the edge of the forest.
After another climb to Dunkel Töbeli and over Chessirüfi, you are already in the municipality of Landquart. At Birchholz there is a beautiful view of the village Igis and the Rhine valley. A stop is worthwhile above the former water castle Marschlins. With gentle ups and downs, the path continues to Ganda, where the Prättigau road is underpassed.
After passing the tennis courts, you cross the Landquart river and hike along the right bank. After about 1 kilometer, you leave the embankment and head via Heuteiler towards Malans station.
