Trail summit Schreckhorn Hut TS4

This summit route leads deep into the heart of the Bernese Alps. From the village, it goes to Pfingstegg, where you take the path towards the Schreckhorn Hut. With views of the surrounding 4000-meter peaks and the fascinating glacier world, you follow the path up to the SAC hut. Those who want to tackle the 10.5-kilometer-long route with 1773 meters of ascent have the possibility to stay overnight here and start the return journey the next day. Since the route is partly very exposed, it is recommended only for experienced mountaineers with appropriate equipment. The Schreckhorn Hut is staffed from early July to the end of September.
