From Les Prés-d’Orvin, the path leads through residential areas, forest, and further over the wooded pastures typical of Grand Chasseral to the Métairie d’Evilard. The ascent continues up to the Cabane du Jura on the Chasseral ridge. The path gently climbs and continues up a slope to the highest point. At 1607 meters above sea level stands the Chasseral broadcasting tower, visible from afar. In clear weather, you can enjoy an exceptional panoramic view over the Three Lakes region and the Alps throughout the hike. From there, the path follows the road down to Hôtel Chasseral, where the bus also stops. | This hike starts at Les Prés-d’Orvin. After crossing residential areas and a small forest, the trail crosses the wooded pastures typical of Grand Chasseral to reach the Métairie d’Evilard. The ascent continues to the Jura hut located on the Chasseral ridge. On a gentle slope, the ridge is climbed up to the highest point, the Chasseral antenna, situated at 1607 meters. Throughout the walk and in clear weather, the hiker enjoys an exceptional panoramic view over the Three Lakes region and up to the Alps. From the antenna, a small road leads down to the bus stop near Hôtel Chasseral.
