Description
From the Arnisäge Postbus stop, take a few steps northwards on the road towards Lützelflüh. Soon a path leads over the steep egg ridge up to the forest edge above the Bergacher farmstead. Magnificent is the view back over the flattening hills into the wide Aare valley and the blue ribbon of the Jura. At Guggerberg on the forest edge of the Geissrüggen, the view opens over the Arni valley and the Churzenberg to the Alpine peak range. At Hinteregg, the path crosses Moosegg road and attaches itself to the northern flank of the Blasenflue. At the Waldhäusern inn you reach Moosegg, which enjoys an excellent reputation in two ways: The incomparable view over the green meadows and dark forests of the Upper Emmental to the bastions of the Pre-Alps and to the glacier-glittering peaks of the Bernese Alps. The gastronomy also confirms the connection to the landscape with its products from local production, the so-called “Ämmitaler Ruschtig”. During the gentle descent over Gemi, you can enjoy once again the entire mountain panorama between Pilatus and Stockhorn. Then it goes down a steep, rough path to Blasen and parallel to the road to the Emmenmatt station.
