To Osteregg

You hike in Urnäsch from the train station via a field past the former retirement home Chräg. From there it goes up to Zimmermannslauftegg with a magnificent view over the Appenzellerland all the way to Lake Constance. Then continue towards Blattendürren and to the mountain restaurant Osteregg, which invites you to linger with its cozy terrace. The return route, which takes about 30 minutes, leads past the retirement home Chräg again and back to the Urnäsch train station.
