Thusis - Verlorna Loch - Viamala Visitor Centre

The route starts at the station in Thusis and leads via the Thusis South roundabout to the Beverin restaurant. Follow the "viaSpluga" & "transviamala" signposts along the old commercial road to Verlorna Loch (Attention: the path leads below the cantonal road into the Viamala Gorge). After passing Rongellen, turn left. Continue down the road to the Rhine bridge. After the bridge, the hiking trail leads right to Nesslaboda and over the narrow path above the ridge (directly opposite the Trögli Gallery A13) to the visitor centre of the Viamala Gorge. In winter, Verlorna Loch is closed.
