Thurgau hike "Madame Bluescht"

This spring route allows plenty of time to fully enjoy the blooming fruit trees, the lush meadows, and the greening forests. The journey starts in Sulgen. Walking from the station through the village center of Sulgen, you soon reach a landscape full of tall fruit trees. In spring, the flowering trees shine far around like a fresh wedding dress, later in late summer the fruits sparkle and invite you to bite into them.

Without noticeable elevation changes, you pass through the village of Leimbach, then follow the hamlets Lenzenhaus and Guggenbühl. Through the villages of Kümmertshausen and Sommeri you finally reach the destination in Amriswil. Shortly before the end, you pass a small highlight: the Eisweiher, also called Ziegeleiweiher. It is a remnant of industrialization and a local recreational area.
