Description

From Ermatingen, the trail leads up to Arenenberg, which is scenically located above the Untersee. A short break is especially worthwhile here: on the one hand, you can experience an original setting of the life of the Bonaparte family in the Napoleon Museum. On the other hand, a walk through the rich Arenenberg garden world is rewarding.

From Arenenberg, the hiking trail then descends again to the lake and leads partly directly by the lake, partly south of the road to Berlingen. Leaving the village, the path rises again slightly, and at the height, passing by the White Rock, a beautiful viewpoint, it leads to Steckborn. In the town center, remains of the city walls with powder towers and many noteworthy old town houses can be admired. In the west of Steckborn, directly on the lake, is the Feldbach area, embedded in a magnificent park landscape.
