Description
From Siegershausen, the path briefly follows the road toward Alterswilen and then turns right. Outside the village, you walk onto a gentle hill, then through the hamlet of Bommen and finally along the approximately 100-meter-long embankment between the two beautiful ponds. The ponds were artificially created around 1460 mainly for the use of water power for mills. In addition, they also played an important role as fishing grounds.
The path then leads through the forest and gently downhill to Kreuzlingen. Above the first houses of the city, it meets the cantonal road and then leads to Kreuzlingen station. The leisure region of Kreuzlingen offers a wide range of opportunities to engage in sports activities, cultural discoveries, and enjoyable experiences of all kinds.
