Thurgau Circular Hiking Route (Amriswil – Neukirch)

This stage starts at the train station in Amriswil and leads southeast out of town. Across fields and forests, you reach the hamlet of Almensberg and the western edge of the village of Steinebrunn.

It then continues to Olmishausen. There you find the Kauderer family's apple farm. They are dedicated to processing and refining apples and many other fruits and berries into various delicacies. This also includes the typical Thurgau apple rings. Their farm shop hosts a variety of homemade delicacies. A tour of the dried fruit production is also possible upon request.

Finally, south of Winzelisberg, where the eponymous inn and Steinebrunn church are located, the route leads eastward to the stage destination Gristenbühl in Neukirch.
