Through the wooded pastures to La Ferrière | Les pâturages boisés de Mont-Soleil à La Ferrière

Starting from the upper station of the Mont-Soleil funicular, the path first leads 1.5 kilometers gently downhill westwards through the shady forest. Along the way, you reach the Belvédère viewpoint, which offers a wonderful panoramic view of the Chasseral. Slightly ascending, the path leads out of the forest to La Brigade, where the Buvette des Sorbiers invites you for a small refreshment break. Then it continues through the wooded pastures typical for the Grand Chasseral to the Auberge Chez L’Assesseur, where you can also stay overnight. The path then goes downhill along fields to the historic hotel in La Chaux-d’Abel. It then passes the train station of the same name.
