Through the Emmental

Insider tip Schüpbachwägli. From Weier we start gently but steadily climbing via Unter and Ober Tannen to Bärhegechnübeli. Once at the top we enjoy the view. After the descent we pass through the charming village of Wasen in Emmental. We stop for lunch at the Grütli restaurant. Heading south we climb, this time a little steeper, towards the hamlet of Senggenberg. Shortly before we turn west and follow the ridge to Hinter Schönenthül. At the farm shop we take a short break and have the opportunity to buy delicious products and homemade goods to take home.
