Through the Clemgia Gorge

Hiking in the Clemgia Gorge is a nature experience par excellence! In Scuol, you hike down to the bridges over the Inn and Clemgia. Then the path leads into the gorge. Over a wooden bridge, you reach the small hamlet of Avrona. The small inn Avrona in the old Engadine style is worth visiting just for the furnishings. Culinary delights are also excellent here. Tarasp Fontana is the next destination. In Tarasp, follow the road right toward Kurhaus Tarasp. The spa hotel is only downhill. With the completion of the magnificent drinking hall in 1875/76, Tarasp became one of the most important spa resorts in Switzerland. Along the Inn, it goes back to Scuol. A visit to the lower town is worthwhile here.
