From Attiswil, you walk up to the hill and then through forests and meadows - past streams - to Oberbipp, to the castle. A bit downhill, and you reach the church in Oberbipp. It is worth visiting the Stone Age burial site - the dolmen - behind the church. The dolmen is over 5000 years old and is among the oldest megalithic sites in Switzerland.

Along the Oberbipp village stream, the path takes you to the Längwald forest down to the Aare river. There, you walk a bit along the scented path until you cross the historic wooden bridge, then through the small town of Wangen to the station.
