The nature park classic

Starting from the post bus stop with the same name on Herbetswiler Boden, you tackle the ascent through the wild and romantic Wolfsschlucht Gorge. The narrow footpath leads through a mixed forest, past sloping rock walls and up steeply. A truly fairytale-like place for encountering goblins and forest spirits! In Hinteren Brandberg, the view looks out over the Thal Nature Park. Walking via Probstenberg and Malsenberg, you will reach Gänsbrunnen train station around two hours later. Shortly before you reach your destination, the picture-perfect, 400-year-old St Joseph’s Church invites you to pay a visit.
