The Muretto Pass

The width of the mule track on the Italian side shows the importance of this crossing. In contrast, the path on the Swiss side is rather narrow and partly quite steep and rocky. The route offers a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains, especially of the north face of Monte Disgrazia, which can be greatly admired on the descent into Valmalenco.
