The Gore Virat, the jewel of the Raimeux region | Le Gore Virat, joyau du Raimeux

From Corcelles the path leads uphill out of the village; the stairs make the steep ascent easier. The path follows the Gore Virat stream. Along the way, one discovers unexpected landscapes. Wooden walkways offer a safe view of the impressive waterfalls. Eventually, you reach Mont Raimeux. It is worth enjoying the wonderful silence or taking a break at the restaurant. The path winds through huge rocks and continues through the forest. Here it steeply descends to the edge of the forest. The last part of the hike also leads downhill across fields to Crémines. | This hike begins at the small Corcelles train station. After about 300 meters, the path climbs along the edge of the village. The ascent is steep, but stairs have been installed to facilitate the most difficult passages. Additionally, wooden footbridges allow safe views of the waterfalls. The climb follows the Gore Virat stream, which gives walkers the chance to discover unsuspected landscapes. The trail crosses rich forest vegetation. Finally, you reach Mont Raimeux and the restaurant with the same name. Here, tranquility is guaranteed! The path winds between enormous rocks and through the forest. The last stage takes place downhill through pastures to Crémines.
