On the hike to the Biferten Hut at the foot of Muot da Rubi or Kistenstöckli, intense ascents and sections for rest alternate continuously.

The fantastic panorama at the Biferten Hut compensates for all the effort.

You’ll have a view of Brigels and the mountain ridges of Obersaxen. Later, you’ll enjoy a deep view at Rubi Sura into the Val Frisal, and finally, you’ll be amazed by the spectacular location of the Biferten Hut, where you may be lucky enough to spot ibexes.

For the ascent, you can take the four-person chairlift from Brigels to Crest Falla and then continue via Alp Quader to the Biferten Hut, or hike on foot along the alpine path towards Alp Quader. For this, you’ll start your hike in the older part of Brigels (Cuort).
