The Badi-Öpfel Day Tour Romanshorn

On this beautiful bike path, there are several opportunities to put the bike aside or to walk it calmly.

In Kreuzlingen, it is worth walking from the harbor through the zoo, climbing the observation tower, stopping at Schloss Seeburg (a great restaurant with a terrace) and the Lake Constance Museum, then getting back on the bike and continuing towards Altnau on the bike path. In Altnau, there is a hot spot of the Grand Tour of Switzerland: the longest pier on Lake Constance.

In Güttingen you will find one of the most beautiful, free bathing areas on Lake Constance - with changing rooms and toilets - and next to it a restaurant with a large shaded outdoor area: "Zum Schiff Li".

We then continue on the path toward Romanshorn, where the beautiful large harbor with park area, ferry, and boat trips awaits. For those who like vintage cars, the "Autobau Experience World" is recommended.

The return route goes through extensive orchards (hence the nickname "Mostindien"), which enchant with their blossom splendor in spring. This tour is very scenic, and Thurgau has preserved its rural charm with gentle hills and many intact villages and small towns.

Tip: since there is much to see, choose beforehand where you want to go, depending on interest and mood.
