Tenner Chrüz, pass with a wide view

Circular route on the sunny terrace in the Safien valley. Start at the church Tenna (1642m) heading east through the village district Ausserberg, past the first solar ski lift in the world. Continue following the signpost Flimser Bänkli. At Oberhus, the path becomes narrower and leads comfortably straight ahead through pastures and forest to the Flimserbänkli. There is a fireplace nicely in the shade. Now it goes steeply uphill to the Tenner Chrüz, the view opens again and again to the Vorder Rhine valley. At the Chrüz we expect a fascinating mountain panorama, with a wonderful view of the Glarus thrust, today called the Tectonic Arena Sardona. Those who want even more views take another half hour steep path to the Schlüechtli, the Tenner local mountain, under their feet. From the Chrüz, it then goes slightly downhill to the Tenner Alp and back to the village Tenna through pastures and meadows.
