Tafeljura Tour

Every third table cherry consumed in Switzerland comes from Baselbiet. The route is especially beautiful to experience when the cherry trees are in full bloom in April. The tour starts at the Bad Ramsach hotel, descending to Zeglingen and Oltingen through the picturesque landscape of the Tafeljura. A short break in the Talweiher nature reserve near Anwil helps to recharge for the onward journey. This shows another highlight with the impressive ruins of Farnsburg. From the ruins, you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of Baselbiet and Aargau. The tour slowly leads back to the Tafeljura to Zeglingen. From there, the final ascent towards Bad Ramsach has to be mastered.
