Together with the T78 you start in Savognin and dive directly into the impressive mountain world. Your path leads you over lush alpine meadows steadily upwards towards Tgant Pensa, where wide views and fresh mountain air welcome you. Then it goes on into the quiet and picturesque Val d’Err, surrounded by crystal-clear streams and the peaceful solitude of the alpine landscape.

Over Salategnas you climb up to the “Heaven’s Gate”, the Fuorcla digl Leget. From here a panorama opens that will take your breath away – a true highlight of the route, which more than rewards the effort of the ascent. The trail continues to the Julier road and from there to the idyllic Leg Grevasalvas, a mountain lake whose beauty will amaze you. The view reaches to the Engadin peaks and down to Bergell. Then the technically demanding ascent to the Lunghin Pass up to the Septimer Pass awaits. From the Fuorcla da Valletta the view opens to the high valley Avers, whose wild and original beauty will take your breath away. Pass the deep blue Leg Columban and enjoy the high alpine landscape before you begin the descent over the Stallerberg to Bivio.
