Sunny height – legendary gorge

A short but angry ascent awaits you right at the beginning of the hike. However, as soon as you leave the village of Romont behind, the path levels off and turns into a wonderful ridge route. Forest sections and open terrain alternate constantly. Soon you reach the mountain hut on Bözingenberg. Although you are not even at 1000 m here, the view over the Mittelland to the Alpine range is magnificent. At the Mülbe, the path forks. Wide loops of trails and forest roads lead over the Pâturage de Sagne down to Frinvillier and the entrance to the Tubeloch Gorge. Through loose deciduous forest, the well-secured path, partly cut into the rock, descends into the deep crevice with vertical walls, small waterfalls sparkling in the sun, and the gurgling stream below. A staircase leads you to the first houses of Biel-Bözingen and the nearby trolleybus stop.
