Sulzfluh via ferrata, St. Antönien

Description
The approach from parking lot P6 takes about 1.5 hours. With the alpine bus (reservation required), this can be shortened by a ride to the Berghaus Alpenrösli. Well-signposted hiking trails and shortly before the start over a path through the scree lead to the Sulzfluh via ferrata.
The lower part consists of stepped rock with several short steep passages. Almost at the beginning of the route is the entry ladder to overcome the "entry wall." This is a first small challenge and gives the climber the opportunity to assess themselves. Then follows the "Obelix traverse" and up to the start of the ramp. From here, there is no exit possibility!
After climbing the "ramp," you reach the "Goat's Back" and finally the "Bench." Middle of the route. Then follows a longer traverse over a grassy ledge before the entry to the "Panoramica," where the second, steeper part begins. Especially impressive are the traverses on the almost vertical slab shots. Fascinating views downwards. Crossing the "Deichmann bridge" requires balance. After signing the wall book, it continues over a small upslope until the entry to the "Wall of Lament" is reached. This is the most physically demanding part of the route and leads to a short "bridge" that guides the climber into the "summit wall." Now you've made it!
After a small contribution to the maintenance fund, it takes only a few minutes to reach the summit cross of Sulzfluh at 2817 m above sea level. Wonderful panoramic view, earned through physical effort. Who knows them all—the valleys, ridges, summits...
