Steg circular route: “Schnebelhorn and Hörnli”

The highest peak in the canton of Zurich, the Schnebelhorn, and the most beautiful peak, the Hörnli, can be combined excellently into a varied circular route starting and ending in Steg. The hike initially leads flat along the Töss. From Ohrüti, the path steadily ascends past Bärloch and the alpine farm Tierhag up to the Schnebelhorn. At the highest point, you can enjoy a stunning panoramic view.

Now follow the Zürioberland Höhenweg to the Restaurant Hulftegg, where you can refresh yourself on the sunny terrace for the continuation of the hike. The path then leads you comfortably to the Hörnli. Enjoy the evening hours at the Berggasthaus Hörnli and then speed back to Steg on the scooters.
