From the entrance to the wildly romantic Surenental valley, the hiking trail meanders in a varied manner along the Engelberger Aa river. After a short rest at Alp Stäfeli, the previously comfortable path turns into an alpine trail that requires surefootedness. Arrived at the cozy SAC hut, you ask yourself the question: stay overnight, experience a beautiful sunset or hike back (the same way).
