Snowshoe trail Spital

From Unteriberg, entrance Höchgütschstrasse, the snowshoe route initially leads you on the prepared hiking and toboggan run to Berghaus Höchgütsch where you have a wonderful view of Unteriberg, Oberiberg, and the surrounding mountains. From Höchgütsch it continues through an almost untouched nature via In den Blätzen, Alt Plangg, Wettsteinrain to the Spitalberg located at 1574 m above sea level.

You will be rewarded on the Spital with a breathtaking view of the Sihlsee, Lake Zurich, and the Urner and Glarner mountains.

From the Spital to Gross, via Ober Tries, Ijenschatten to Gross. From Gross you take the post bus back to the starting point Unteriberg, duration approx. 4 1/2 to 6 hours.
